AmaZulu Community Trust in support of World Read Aloud Day

Usuthu players, Luyanda Hlongwa, Lungelo Dlamini and Njabulo Ngcobo took part in the World Read Aloud Record attempt on 16 January which was organized by the Department of Education and NGO Nal’ibali at uShaka Marine World.
The players certainly had their bit of fun interacting with the primary school children and taking turns reading the children stories in groups. The campaign was aimed at promoting a reading culture among primary school learner. Last the campaign reached about 365 000 children who heeded the call to pick up a book and be lost in a book.
